Live Generosity. Spread God's Love. Share Healing.
Generosity Starts With YOu
In 2010, Faith Christian Center started the You Got Blessed Project, now Generosity Week, to be more intentional about spreading the love of God throughout our city during the holiday season by doing random acts of kindness for total strangers.
generosity week
During this holiday season brighten someone's day through an unexpected, random act of kindness.
Live generosity
Give freely and spontaneously. Don't have a stingy heart. The way you handle matters like this triggers God's blessing in everything you do, in all your work and ventures.

spread god's love
God is generous. Living a life of generosity improves the life of the receiver and the life of the giver. Generosity should be shown to everyone, it’s not just reserved for those who are in need.
spread healing
For many, the holidays can be more sorrowful than joyful. Emotions such as loneliness, anger, and grief can easily overtake the spirit of cheer. Share healing with a generous random act of kindness.

Can Food Drive Competition
It's time for some friendly competition! During Generosity Week, it's ladies vs. men in a canned food drive showdown, with all donations supporting Midwest Food Bank. Bring in those cans, show your spirit, and let's see who makes the biggest impact! You can drop off donations Sundays, December 1st & 8th between 8am - 3:30pm or Tuesday, December 3rd and Thursday, December 5th between 10am - 4pm at FCC – may the best team win!
Buy Someone Lunch
An awesome way to show our generosity on Generosity Week than by buying lunch for a stranger and setting off a wave of kindness throughout the city! Let's inspire moments of connection and brighten someone's day, one meal at a time. Together, we can spread joy and generosity far and wide.
Write a Thank You Letter
Join us for Generosity Week by spreading kindness! Take a moment to write a heartfelt thank you letter to someone special and share the joy of appreciation.
Nominate an Organization to Bless
At FCC, we believe generosity reflects the heart of Jesus. This year, our congregation nominated over 35 organizations and ministries to bless during Generosity Week. Our ministry team is prayerfully considering each nomination, seeking God’s direction to make an impact where it’s needed most. Together, we’ll represent Jesus and show our community the love and generosity of the Church.

Generosity Week is the first week of December. This year, Generosity Week is December 2nd through 8th.
Why Does It Occur During The Holiday Season?
The holiday season is a wonderful time of the year for many of us, but unfortunately, this is not true for everyone. For some people, the holiday season is lonely, depressing, & even stressful. What better way to brighten up people’s day than by surprising them with an unexpected, random act of kindness!
Why Should I Tell Others About What I've Done?
If you don’t tag anyone or share your story, how will anyone else discover what Generosity Week is all about and decide to get involved? Your story may give someone an idea or the courage they need to step outside of their comfort zone and be a blessing to someone else. So please share your story so that we can all celebrate together!
